| Oming at your service! |
I am Rommel Villacorta, a hobbyist photographer. I started photography more or less than a year. During that time, I still don't have DSLR camera, yet until now, I do not own what I am using. (lol) But through the grace and blessings of God, I was able to learn by myself the basics of digital photography through borrowing cameras. Well, thanks to my friends, especially my little brother who owns what I am using right now. I know in myself that still I only knew very very few about photography.
By the way, got clue with my photography name? FYI, the name "Oming" is my nickname. I don't even exactly know who gave me that nickname but one thing for sure is that I always heard my grandpa (the late Rufo Villacorta) and my grandma (the late Rosa Villacorta) used to call me since I was a little child. During my elementary days, I didn't want my classmates to call me "Oming" so instead of using "Oming" as my nickname, I told them to call me "Mhell" since that was the last syllable with my first name.
Back to photography, I've decided to use "Oming" as the name of my photography because, first, it's easy to memorize and remember. Second, for me, it is unique. If somebody would try to take a survey from 100 or 1000 persons and ask their nickname, I would probably get no matching nicknames out of them. (lol)
